BIO

A graduate of Sheffield and City Universities, Lee Kynaston has been a journalist for over 15 years, starting his career on young women’s magazine Mizz and eventually moving to 19 magazine in 1995 to head up the features department there.
Two years later he was in the Editor's chair, overseeing a £1.5 million relaunch which led to three successive ABC increases. In 1999 he swapped his Editor's role on the young women’s title for that of Deputy Editor on Men’s Health and spent two years on the magazine before deciding to return to the thing that had originally drawn him to journalism - the writing.
Since becoming a freelancer his work has appeared in titles as diverse as Living Etc, Wedding and Home, Chat, dad’s magazine FQ, Aware, The Times, The Independent, Toni & Guy magazine, Olive, View, Beauty magazine, and Men’s Health on subjects ranging from travel, parenting, skincare, sex and relationships to work, nutrition and health.
As Grooming Editor for Men’s Health he has written extensively about male grooming and his expertise in this field has led to regular TV, radio and newspaper appearances.
During 2003 Lee also worked on a Special Project for publishers H Bauer and in recent years has taken on more commercial and consultancy work, working for the likes of Philips, Estée Lauder, Elemis and numerous PR agencies to develop marketing strategies and produce corporate websites, press materials and in-house magazines.
He is currently working on his first book.
